According to official data published by the Valencian Community Chess Federation (FACV), our school has achieved a prominent position in the Castellón school circuit rankings, securing a spectacular third place out of a total of 39 participating schools.
After the first three rounds held in Alcossebre, Alcalà de Xivert, and Tales, the school team, made up of Si-Heon Park, Marta Miakisheva, Adrián Marín-Buck Piquer, Guillermo Marín-Buck Piquer, Javier Navarro Romaguera, Karam Maayah Al Maaita and Artem Stakhurskyi has mathematically secured its qualification for the Valencian Community School Chess Championship Final, which will be held in Oliva (Valencia) on 22nd March.
Having secured qualification, the team’s immediate focus is on the XVI “Fiestas de la Magdalena” Children’s Chess Open, the final qualifying event of the Provincial Circuit. There, they will strive to definitively secure a place on the podium, and perhaps even reach first place, from which they are just two points away.
This success is the result of the combined efforts of our young talents in the Under-12, Under-10, and Under-8 categories. We want to express how proud we are of each and every participant. Beyond the trophy, this result reflects the dedication and strategic thinking that we foster at our school. Congratulations to all!
