Specialisation and in-depth academic study
As students progress through Secondary and reach Sixth Form, they have the opportunity to specialise in subjects related to their interests and future university degrees or professional careers.

Sixth Form at International English School of Castellón can be accessed by students who have completed Secondary Education in the Spanish system. The programme allows for a high level of academic knowledge and exceptional preparation for access and success in higher education, highlighting a high linguistic competence in English and Spanish.

To focus on the choice of university degrees and faculties, we organise visits to university fairs so that our students can learn first-hand about the varied range of courses on offer and make an informed decision. National and international recognition
The Sixth Form educational programme offered at International English School of Castellón combines subjects from the English National Curriculum with the necessary subjects of the Spanish educational system, allowing students to obtain a double recognition of studies with both a British and Spanish qualification.
A-Levels are the most widely recognised pre-university qualification in the world and are considered the gold standard for university preparation, allowing access to Spanish universities (public and private) as well as British, European or American ones.
High linguistic competence in English
The main language of our school is English and the subjects are taught by highly qualified native teachers, allowing students to reach an exceptionally high level of the English language.
The language immersion implemented at the school seeks to develop and enhance students’ oral agility as well as their confidence and naturalness when expressing themselves in this language.

At the International English School of Castellón, students have a personalised Sixth Form plan that has been designed based on their future goals, preferences, interests and aptitudes.
Specialising in specific subjects
Students who choose to take A-levels specialise in 3 or 4 subjects. The programme for each student focuses solely on those subjects they choose based on the degree they aspire to study at university.
Students can focus on those subjects that interest them most and that best fit with their future studies, which allows for a greater depth of concepts in both languages, making learning a much more specialised process and increasing their chances of success.

Sixth Form at the International English School of Castellón seeks to foster critical and analytical thinking, motivating students to engage in research and investigation, as well as to solve problems, explain their reasoning and present persuasive arguments.
