General procedures for entry

Upon receiving an enquiry, the Admissions Officer will contact the family to arrange a visit to the school. During the visit, the family will have the opportunity to tour the facilities and learn more about the school’s educational programme. If a personal visit is not possible, the school may arrange an online meeting to ensure that the family can still explore what the school has to offer.

Reports and supporting documentation

For Year 1 and above, information from previous schools is required, including recent school reports, references, and exercise books where applicable.

Taster days allow students to experience the school environment before final enrolment. A permission form will need to be completed by the family.

Language support

Children with limited English or Spanish may be admitted if sufficient resources are available to provide support classes and if the child demonstrates the ability to cope with the academic programme.
Parents may be required to arrange private tuition if support resources are limited.

Admission of non-European students requiring a visa

To account for the potential risks associated with visa applications, the enrolment fee for non-European students will be higher than the standard fee. This additional amount will be compensated at the end of the first academic year. The Admissions Team will provide full details during the process.

Admission

Following the admissions process, the Head of Admissions will confirm that the prospective student has been accepted.

Securing a place

A place is secured once admission has been granted, the registration fee paid, and the completed enrolment form signed by both parents or legal guardians and accepted.

Waiting lists

If a class reaches its maximum capacity, a waiting list will be established.

Equality and non-discrimination

Every child will be given the opportunity to thrive in an environment that respects and celebrates individuality.

Right of refusal of admission

The school reserves the right to refuse admission if it is determined that it cannot meet the educational or pastoral needs of the student. This decision will be made transparently, considering the best interests of both the prospective student and the existing school community.

Honest disclosure

The school requires full and honest disclosure from parents regarding their child’s educational, physical, and emotional needs during the admissions process. This information is essential to ensure that the school can provide appropriate support and a positive learning experience.
