At International English School of Castellón, we couldn’t be prouder. As a school committed to educational excellence and the flexibility required by young talent, we are especially thrilled to announce our participation in the new high-performance scholarship programme organised by the Golf Federation of the Valencian Community (FGCV) in collaboration with the Sergio García Golf Academy (SGGA).
A Further Step in Our Alliance with the Sergio García Golf Academy
For a year now, our school has maintained a close and successful partnership with the Sergio García Golf Academy. Together, we have developed a model of specialised, adapted programmes that allow elite athletes to balance their demanding training schedules with a top-tier academic education. Our goal is clear: that no student should have to choose between their passion for sport and their academic future.
This new initiative by the FGCV seeks to promote the comprehensive development—sporting, academic, and personal—of young prospects in regional golf. Two scholarships will be awarded (one male and one female) for players born in 2009 and 2010.
As the programme’s designated academic institution, International English School of Castellón will be responsible for providing personalised academic training to the recipients, integrating them into an environment designed to foster their growth within a prestigious British educational system.
A Comprehensive High-Level Experience
The scholarship recipients will enjoy a complete experience in an elite environment:
- Academic Excellence: Education at International English School of Castellón.
- Elite Training: Technical preparation at the Mediterráneo Golf facilities (home of the SGGA).
- Integrated Monitoring: Physical planning, joint sports supervision by the FGCV & SGGA, accommodation, and full board.
We look forward to welcoming the new scholarship holders to our classrooms!
